The DaVinci Code has made Mary Magdalene once again famous, but how much do we know about this person and what can we learn from her faithful example?

This day will separate fact from fiction; myth from actuality. We will see how Mary Magdalene has been portrayed over the centuries, but most importantly see how her story informs our story. What does this first witness to the resurrection have to teach us today?
The presentation will be a series of short talks followed by group discussion. Bishop Taylor will use both poetry and paintings as a way of enhancing the imagination of the participants.
