WHO WE ARE

The Centers for Christian Studies, based at the Cathedral of All Souls, Asheville, NC, is the response to Bishop Porter Taylor’s call for opportunities for the laity and clergy of the diocese to discover who they are as Episcopalians and Anglicans, to discern their gifts to respond to Christ’s calling to live out their Baptismal Covenant, and to deepen in their faith and spirituality. The (s) in Center indicates that this is a diocesan-wide project and the offerings will go to the people of the diocese rather than requiring people to always come to Asheville. Our address is: P.O. Box 5978, Asheville, NC 28813   828.274.2681

WHAT'S NEW
This pilgrimage will take us into the heart of the civil rights movement as experienced in the 60's and onward, as well as challenge us to take our experiences into our own day.
As part of the Centers’ ongoing commitment to helping people to live faithfully to God’s call in their lives, a eight-month program is being developed for people who feel called to listen deeply to others and to ask open, honest questions to help people to discern God’s desire in our everyday lives.
